Summer in April...

I realise I've been a bit slack with my posting of late, but I've mainly been enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having here in the UK. The trouble with UK weather is that it can change so fast I feel you have to take advantage of it while its good, so I've been trying to spend as much time as possible outside. I've received the rest of my postcard swop's, which I will post soon, and I have been working on some new embroidery pieces, I'll take some pictures of that too. Until then I'll post some pictures of a view from a local county park where we took a picnic for our tea the other day (like I say, making the most of the outdoors!)...

Hazy weekend...

Hope you all had a lovely weekend, and if you were lucky enough to see the sun, made the most of it. Am I the only one that thinks that the weekend was slightly surreal? Here in the north west of the UK we had bright sunshine, warm enough to sit in the garden in summer dresses. Looks kind of grey today, and I'm wondering if it was all some kind of lovely dream...

I received my second postcard today, all the way from New York. My postcards are packaged and ready for a trip to the post office to send to distant lands...
